kitchen essentials

For some ladies who try to hone their domestic skills through everyday activities, the kitchen can be a source of anxiety.  Not knowing how to cook is as much as a disgrace as not knowing how to dance, and as a woman in her mid twenties, I would like to have fully stocked shelves so I can whip up delicious gourmet meals at the drop of a napkin.  For the essentials, I turned to an old guide of mine from college, The Modern Girls Guide to Life by Jane Buckingham. Once you arm yourself with these tools, you are ready to take on the kitchen and become a gourmet chef!  To purchase cute items like these, try Crate and Barrel, Sur la Table or Williams Sonoma.  For cheaper alternatives, look at Target, IKEA or your local Home Goods.
