There is something lovely about a chaotic collection of random objects, especially in the office. A workstation layered with inspiring objects, sticky notes, torn out magazine articles and photos speaks volumes about the person occupying it. It is like the manifestation of a person’s every thought and idea into one big collage. When I infatuate over a designer, business owner or icon, I like to see their work space to have an idea of their interests, ideas and perspective. Recently, Stylelist got to visit Anna Sui’s office in Soho, where she designed her Parisian inspired Spring collection. The studio’s scarlet carpet, lavender walls and glossy black furniture and fixtures are like a dark romantic dollhouse filled with pretty little chotchkis.
