Designer Digs: Inside the Homes of Fashion’s Finest

Elle Decor is one of my favorite design & decor publishers to date, and I think that it was because of Elle Decor that I even gained an interest in interior design as a teenager.  It is always interesting to see, of the creators that make up Hollywood’s A-list – actors, producers, designers, socialites and innovators – who has the best sense of architecture and design within their home.  There are some predictable design addicts like the always hip & polished Gwyneth Paltrow or the mother goose of domestic goddesses Martha Stewart. But when you come across a surprise style addict, like Alec Baldwin and Kristin Cavallari, it’s always nice to get some fresh perspective into the minds of someone you thought you knew so well.

Fashion Designers are among some of the most creative minds in the world, possessing an ever-growing index of history and technique, and always continuing to push the boundaries of what is deemed normal and appropriate through their work. To be able to get a peek inside their home is like getting a glimpse of the genius inside their heads. Elle Decor is always in the know with the trends and style of celebrity homes, and they do such a wonderful job of embodying the spirit of someone’s home in one single shot.
