After a 2 week vacation in Israel, I am finally back and settled, feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. I spent 10 days traveling through the country, adventuring through 6 different cities discovering more about myself and my Jewish heritage than I had in the past 25 years of life in the US. The country, and the experience I had there, was far more than I could ever have imagined. The land of Israel is so rich in religious importance, history and natural resources, that every day brought on a new theme or inspired a new thought.
The activities that we participated in were both mentally, physically and emotionally challenging. Rafting the Jordan, climbing Mt. Masada, visiting Biblical sites are just a few of the trips highlights. Words or pictures could never do the trip justice, but I tried to include a little bit of everything to give you an idea of what I was fortunate enough to experience.
